About Isca Juniors
Isca have a thriving junior section with around 400 boys and girls. There are teams for the Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s and Under 18s (indoor only), for both boys and girls, competing regularly in competitions and festivals.
All age groups receive excellent coaching from the dedicated coaches - Anne Baker is in charge of the girls section and Graham Skinner looks after the boys - who are helped out by enthusiastic volunteers.

New members
We currently have 400 juniors, and before applying you should consider whether your child would be better off playing local hockey in a smaller club (England Hockey recommends this for most players below the age of 14). With up to 50 players in some age groups it’s going to be tough to get in the first team at Isca! Many other Devon clubs have capacity to take players, for example Exe HC and East Devon HC both also offer training in Exeter, and there are many other clubs in the surrounding area.
For older players, there may come a point when a smaller club may not be able to provide the best environment, or offer a high enough standard of competition. England Hockey’s Right Athlete, Right Environment RARE resource provides some guidance about the questions to ask and areas to consider.
